Willow Creek A101: saved measurement verification

On October 17, 2026, the PolyPDF publisher tested the saved A101 Revision A construction example in PolyPDF 1.6.14 build 76, a local development build on macOS 26.4.1, using Free. The About dialog supplied the version and build.

The drawing retained 96 ft width, 60 ft depth, and 5,760 sq ft gross area after saving, closing, reopening, and switching units. The actual saved PDF and app-exported CSV are available below.

This verifies this example in the identified local Mac build. It does not qualify the current public installer or establish Windows, Pro, or cross-viewer results. Use the evaluation guide to test your own installed version.

This is an older test of a development build. The current record is the public Mac 1.6.27 build 99 test.

Drawing and method

Willow Creek is a fictional architectural training project. The PDF has two 36 × 24 inch sheets. A101 Revision A uses the printed scale 1/4 in = 1 ft. The outside boundary is 96 × 60 ft, giving 5,760 sq ft gross. This area includes walls and is not a net finish quantity.

The measurements were originally created through the desktop app in 1.6.13 build 74, then saved and retested in local build 76. Build 76 did not create new measurements. Opening the original saved file with the Metric preference produced 29,260.80 mm, 18,288.00 mm and 535.12 m²; switching to Imperial restored the drawing values. The same checks passed after a build-76 save and another fresh reopen.

Open the previously saved drawing under Metric, then switch to ImperialPASS29260.80 mm / 18288.00 mm / 535.12 m²; then 96 ft / 60 ft / 5760 sq ft
Save in build 76, close, reopen under Metric, then switch to ImperialPASS96 ft / 60 ft / 5760 sq ft
Inspect saved PDF annotations and geometryPASSTwo lengths and one area; saved values and geometry match drawing references
Export the worksheet as CSVPASSArea: 1 measurement / 5760 sq ft. Length: 2 measurements / 156 ft (96 + 60), not a perimeter.

The worksheet combines the two independent length checks into 156 ft = 96 + 60 ft; this is not the building perimeter. The PDF contains three measurement annotations and two original navigation links. Saved annotation geometry and values were inspected independently of the app display. The area label overlaps printed text at the center of the drawing; use the worksheet to read the quantity clearly.

Files

These are byte-identical copies of the saved PDF and CSV exported through the desktop app. No measurements, quantities or metadata were changed after export.
