Every MUTCD sign, built in. Four tool chests carry 832 signs from the FHWA's 2024 Standard Highway Signs release — Regulatory, Warning, Temporary Traffic Control, and School — as crisp vector stamps that print as true linework. A search bar atop the Tools panel filters every chest as you type.
Maps drawn as CAD linework. A fifth map style inks the map like a drafter would: paper-white ground, black strokes on a real pen-weight hierarchy, buildings as white mass with fine edges — exactly monochrome, on screen and in print.
Build your own plugins. An authoring guide, a packer, and a worked example ship with the app; the Plugins dialog gains Install from File with a consent step showing exactly what a package declares.
Insert Map, smarter. Address suggestions as you type, and the style and zoom are chosen before the map lands — with a live preview of both.
Cmd+F opens Search. Text find lands in the sidebar with the query box focused.
Cmd+Shift-drag duplicates a markup — the copy follows your drag, the original stays put, one Undo removes it.
Type a new length onto a dimension. Double-click a linear dimension, enter a value, and the geometry resizes to match — the takeoff worksheet follows.
Workspaces grow up. Lock them, recolor them from the style toolbar that now appears on selection, convert one to an area measurement, or draw one by click-and-drag.

The status bar shows the sheet's actual drawing scale — 1/4" = 1'-0", 1:100, or the calibrated value — instead of PDF points, and follows the cursor across scale regions.
Form fields are genuinely movable: drag anywhere on a field, with smart alignment guides, directional cursors, and arrow-key nudging. Placing a field hands you back to the pointer with the new field selected, names are editable with duplicates refused, and clicking away deselects.
Visual search is dramatically faster with identical results, and the progress readout says something true: "Searching page 3 of 24".
Sign chests scroll smoothly — artwork loads as it comes into view instead of rendering hundreds of previews at once.
The Measurements sidebar offers two clear paths to a page scale: pick a preset (metric included) and Apply, or calibrate by line.
Order commands grey out when a selection cannot move instead of refusing with an error; successful actions no longer announce themselves as errors.
Status notices appear above the footer's right edge, clear of the sidebar, and retire on their own after a few seconds — hovering holds them.
Snap-to-content anchors only to drawn linework — never hatching, text, or blank paper.
Settings sheds its read-only noise; Updates is a clean check action. Developer tooling left the shipped menus.

Government forms fill and save. IRS, FAFSA, USCIS, and court forms carrying Adobe's "Rights Enabled" stamp used to refuse to save, losing everything typed. Encrypted forms whose own permissions allow filling now save too.
Image stamps are no longer invisible outside PolyPDF. Imported and pasted images and snapshots exported fully transparent in other viewers; they export opaque now, and older documents heal on their next save.
Form fields render true to size everywhere. A one-point scale mismatch stretched every field appearance in Acrobat, Preview, and print; radio buttons are compact and labeled; sample-form grids are exact.
A drawn signature is no longer labeled "Validity Unknown" — visual signatures say plainly they are not digitally signed.
Plugin stamps place without a border by default, and "No border" is a real style choice.
Right-clicking a placed map, seal, or steel profile keeps it selected; maps appear in page thumbnails; the seal preview is no longer clipped.
